This time of the year I, the webmistress, made an animated, musical 'swf ' Christmas cyber-card from the Old Girls' Union to all of its members.

The practice of making these cards dates back to the days when I helped out with the dreaded 'DIDA', but mailing them out to Old Girls only started in 2014.

From 2014 to 2016 I made Flash cards. The site cybercomputing contains a section on how to use Flash to make swf files. If you have the software do check it out. They are fun to make! If not, you can still check out the activity swfs on there.... ideal to keep small children (and those aduts with childlike traits) amused in the Christmas season. But becase malware could be inserted into the coding of Flash (and because adobe wanted to decommision all of the old Macromedia products...) Flash is dying and I have replaced the originals with HTML5 versions.

If you have any recordings of WGHS pupils playing and/or singing carols or Christmas songs please let me have a copy of the recording.... mp3 or wav is best, but I'll take anything and try to convert it to a suitable form!

Similarly if you have pictures of schooldays that are Christmassy, please let me have a copy of the photo so that I can use it in a future cyber-card....
